TPQ - God a Cosmic Child Abuser?

The Bible says that God gave his Son to die on the cross for OUR sins. That means God sent Jesus to be punished for the things you did. You wouldn't punish your completely innocent child for the sins of another child. If you believe this is an unfair analogy because Jesus offered his life how do you reconcile the clear teaching that God GAVE his Son? How does this still show a Good Loving God? Is God a Cosmic child abuser or is something else going on here?

Let us know what you think and look for my answer in the comments section.

A thought...

Church is not a museum for saints, but rather a hospital for sinners.

I have seen the Anti-Christ...Honest.

Scower your Bibles for a moment looking for refrences to the Anti-Christ and you will find only these four instances.

1 John 2:18
Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

1 John 2:22
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3
but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

2 John 1:7
Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist.

When we read anything from an article in the newspaper to the Bible we must ask ourselves "Who", "What", "When", "Where", "Why" and "How". Thats fundamental 5th grade knowledge. We must not read into what is written. Only interpret from facts. Here the "Who" of the antichrist is CLEARLY spelled out...

According to the BIBLE the Anti-Christ is:
  • Any Man who denies that Jesus is Christ.
  • Any Spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus as coming in the flesh.

The Anit-Christ is used in a plural sense not the singular... there are many anti-christ among us everyday. No since in looking for some great world leader to secretly fill the position of anti-christ. The position is already taken, just take a look around. I have seen them. So have you.
